High Resolution Video Inspection
Over time, a well may present operational problems and requires maintenance. The well endoscopy technique, called OPTICAL LOGGING, or filming, records continuously, using a high resolution camera, inch by inch inside the well and identifies the best way to diagnose and solve the causes of the problem.
Video Inspection is an operation similar to logging, in which a high resolution video camera is descended into the well instead of using logging tools. Using a tripod, positioned at the wellhead, a coaxial cable interconnects the surface controls with the camera within the well, permitting to film wells up to 1,000 meters deep.
The depth measurement accuracy is an unparalleledfeature in Hidrolog filming unit. Relying on his long experience in geophysical logging, Using its long –term experience in geophysical logging, Hidrolog uses a high-resolution HIdrologmeasurer, ensuring unparalleled accuracy when it comes to depth measurement, with an errors in a range below 0,5%, with errors less than 0.5%, i.e. less than 5 cm in a hundred meters well filmed.
